Dr Jan-David Jäger’s legal practice focuses on employment and corporate law, with a special emphasis on providing strategic legal advice on major projects in the health care industry. To this end, he has been specialising in university hospital law.

Dr Jan-David Jäger studied law at the University of Leipzig (Germany) and then worked as a research assistant to Prof. Dr Boemke, Chair of Civil, Employment and Social Law at the University of Leipzig, where he also did his doctorate. Jan-David Jäger carried out his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Hamm (Germany), which also included a training period at the Canadian German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CGCIC) in Toronto (Canada). He was admitted to the German Bar in 2020 and initially worked for a commercial law firm in Munich (Germany) before moving to Luther in 2021.
