Daniel Bischof advises national and international companies from a variety of industries on all aspects of intellectual property law, in particular, trademark, competition and copyright law. He focuses his legal practice on the enforcement of trademark rights, in and out of court, as well as proceeding against violations of competition law. His services further include developing trademark application strategies, providing representation in application procedures before the German and European trademark offices and drafting contracts, in particular in connection with the transfer of industrial property rights and the grant of licences.
Daniel Bischof studied law at the Universities of Göttingen and Münster (Germany) with a focus on information technology (IT), telecommunications and media law and completed his studies in 2011. Whilst carrying out his legal training at the Higher Regional Court of Celle (Germany), he worked inter alia for the intellectual property (IP) department of an international commercial law firm. He then wrote his doctoral thesis – for which he was awarded his doctorate from the University of Kiel – while at the same time working as a research assistant for Luther’s IP practice group. Daniel Bischof was admitted to the German Bar in 2016.
