Luxembourg Stock Exchange Launches New Professional Segments on the Regulated Market and the Euro MTF Market

On 19 November, 2018 the Luxembourg Stock Exchange launched new Professional Segments on the Regulated Market and the Euro MTF Market.

From this date onwards, issuers who only intend to target professional investors, can apply to have their financial instruments admitted to trading in these new segments. Trading on the Professional Segments will only be allowed between professional investors, thus retail investors cannot access admitted securities. The resulting market segregation, may allow issuers to benefit from certain advantages related to prospectus content as well as MiFID II and PRIIPS requirements.
